We provide an excellent ministry for the families of Sacred Church. From babies to elementary-age, parents can check-in their kids during the service for lessons, games, and fun projects.
Checking in your kid to SacredKIDS for the first time? Here's 10-things to consider.
We Have Been Told Many Times That Our Church Is An Easy One To Attend-- Especially By Those Who Don't Usually "Go To Church". Still, Walking Through The Doors Can Be Intimidating If You Don't Know What's On The Other Side, So Here Are Some Things You Can Expect To Make Your Visit An Easy One:
Q: How should I dress?
A: People come to The Sacred Church wearing anything they would usually wear on a weekend. So come comfortably!
Q: Is there something for my children?
A: Yes! From babies to elementary-age, parents can check-in their kids during the main service for lessons, games, and fun projects.
Q: What kind of Christian are you?
A: We are the kind of Christian that doesn't fit nicely into a box... but we look like an evangelical church. We are a part of the Assemblies of God (If you're looking for more info, you can read more about us)
Q: What's your political stance?
A: One of our leadership's values is being publicly non-partisan; meaning we don't bring politics into the church. We preach Jesus, and let the people discern for themselves what to do in the polls.
Q: How long are your services?
A: Our services run from about 11am-12:10pm.
P: What about parking?
A: Parking is abundant at Burlingame High School with a large parking lot directly outside of our meeting space. We meet in the cafe, just off the main parking lot (on the south-side of the school. Just follow the signs and look for our welcome team, and you'll easily find us).
Q: What happens in a service?
A: We typically start with music, singing a couple songs. Don't want to sing? That's okay. You won't draw any unwanted attention to yourself. Our teaching pastor speaks for about 25-30 minutes, and we conclude! All that to say: we try really hard not to throw any "curve balls" that will leave anyone feeling out-of-place.
Q: Why do you meet in a school?
A: We meet at Burlingame High School because it's the best option available. It's a well-known location in the city, and we feel good about financially supporting our local school.
