The problem with thinking what I’m missing is better than what I have, is you don’t just think about it, you start fantasizing about it. And when you start fantasizing about it, you start idolizing it. When you start idolizing it, you see all the good with none of the bad, thinking that that is more satisfying, more fulfilling, better than what I’m stuck with. The most common assassin to your happiness in your relationship is being convinced what I’m missing is better than what I have.
